Sunar Mısır is an integrated industrial company that processes corn using advanced technologies to produce high value-added raw materials for the food, textile, paper and various other industrial sectors.
Established in Adana in 1985, Sunar Mısır has contributed to domestic production by developing corn derivatives to meet the needs of Türkiye’s industries since its foundation. Today, with an extensive product portfolio ranging from glucose and fructose to native and modified starches, dextrin, polyols and corn by-products, Sunar Mısır serves as a trusted supplier to leading brands in both domestic and international markets.
The story of Sunar Mısır began with a vision to develop a local solution for Türkiye’s industrial needs at a time when high-quality corn derivatives required by the Turkish industry were imported from abroad.
Founded in Adana in 1985 by Hacı Nuri Çomu, a senior agricultural engineer, Sunar Mısır has continuously expanded its investments since its establishment, evolving into an integrated production facility.
Today, Sunar Mısır supplies raw materials to a wide range of industries, particularly food, textile and paper, with products including glucose and fructose, native starch, modified starch, dextrin, polyols, corn bran, corn germ and corn gluten.

Sunar Mısır has succeeded in becoming the first and only producer of Sunsorb® Powdered Sorbitol and Sodium Gluconate in Turkey through its investments.

The Sunar Mısır R&D Center was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye in May 2018.
Our R&D activities focus not only on developing new products, but also on improving existing products and processes. We also explore innovative solutions that unlock new applications and uses for corn.

Its quality and management system certifications include ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
In addition, Sunar Mısır holds certifications and compliance standards including IP NON-GMO, Halal Food, KOSHER and the SEDEX Social Audit Standard.
