About Us
Founded in Çukurova in 1974, Sunar Yatırım is an industrial group operating with integrated production power in the fields of agriculture, food, and bio-industry. With our extensive product portfolio ranging from starch-based products to biopolymers, we develop high-value-added and sustainable solutions. Through our strong R&D infrastructure, sustainable procurement approach, and technology-oriented investments, we create a holistic value chain extending from local production to global markets.
The foundations of Sunar Yatırım were laid in the first half of the 1970s by its founder, Hacı Nuri Çomu. The ginning and paddy mill established in 1974 could not sustain production due to transformations in cotton farming in Çukurova; however, this experience formed the beginning of the group’s permanent industrial journey with the flour factory established in Osmaniye in 1976.
