Sunar Ginning and Paddy Factory was established, laying the foundations of Sunar Investment.

Sunar Özlem Flour Factory

Sunar Corn was established for the production of starch and starch-based products.

Our Honorary Chairman, Hüseyin Nuri Çomu, began working actively at Sunar Investment following his graduation from the Department of Business Administration at Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

The foundations of Elita Gıda were laid by commissioning the oil production unit within the Sunar Corn facilities.

The Sunar Feed factory was commissioned within Sunar Flour and Feed.

NÇS Agriculture was established for the production and sale of fresh fruit.

Elita Gıda, one of Turkey’s few fully integrated facilities in vegetable oil production, was established.

The TBMM Distinguished Service Award was presented to Mr. Nuri Çomu by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his contributions to social responsibility projects.

All companies were brought together under the umbrella of Sunar Investment.

Sunar Marketing was established to manage the international trade activities of the group companies.

Elita Gıda, one of the Sunar Group companies, entered the ISO 500 list, which ranks Turkey’s industrial giants.

The $100 million threshold was surpassed with exports carried out to 60 countries.

By increasing its refining capacity, Elita Gıda became one of Turkey’s largest vegetable oil production facilities.

The sorbitol facility within Sunar Corn commenced production.

Sunar NP was established for the production of Turkey’s first certified biodegradable TPS (thermoplastic starch) and biopolymers.

The cogeneration facility was commissioned to meet the energy needs of the rapidly growing group companies in a more environmentally friendly and cost-efficient manner.

The maltitol production facility commenced operations within Sunar Corn.

With the first sustainable sunflower farming practices implemented in Europe and Turkey, our country’s first sustainable sunflower oil was produced.

The Sunar R&D Center was officially approved by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology.

The Solar Power Plant (SPP) was completed and commissioned as Sunar Investment’s first renewable energy investment.

The capacity of the Solar Power Plant (SPP) was doubled.

The crushing capacity of Elita Gıda was increased 2.6 times.

Sunar Corn increased its capacity in liquid sorbitol, modified starch, and dextrin.

The Sunar Flour and Feed Konya Feed Mill was commissioned.

The Sunar Flour Osmaniye Factory was rebuilt and commenced production with double the capacity.

Investments in Sunar Lidaş were initiated for licensed warehousing activities.
