Hüseyin Nuri Çomu
Born in Osmaniye in 1965, Hüseyin Nuri Çomu completed his undergraduate studies at the Boğaziçi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. Following his education, he returned to Adana and successfully continued the industrial, commercial, and agricultural activities that his family has maintained for three generations. He has played an active role in the business world for over 35 years.
In addition to his leadership in the industrial and business worlds, he has undertaken significant roles in numerous non-governmental organizations. He has served in managerial positions at organizations such as MÜSİAD, BYSD, YABİTED, AKİB, OAİB, ENVER, and NÜD; and served as the President of the Assembly of the Adana Chamber of Industry (ADASO) between 2013 and 2016. Furthermore, he held the position of Chairman of the Board of the South and Southeast Vegetable Oil Industrialists Association (GÜNYAĞDER) from 2015 to 2023.
Continuing his vision of contributing to society, Çomu was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of the Adana Branch of the Society for the Dissemination of Knowledge (İlim Yayma Cemiyeti) in 2024.
Hüseyin Nuri Çomu, who is fluent in English, is married and has three children.
Mustafa Nuri Çomu
Mustafa Nuri Çomu, a third-generation representative of Sunar Yatırım, was born in Istanbul in 1995. After completing his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University, Çomu earned his master’s degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on International Management at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Additionally, during his education at Harvard University, he gained industry experience through training at international organizations such as the CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade).
After serving as a consultant for brand management, information systems, supply chain, corporate management, and governance projects at international consultancy firms, he joined Sunar Yatırım in 2019 as the Director of Strategy and Business Development. In 2020, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board at Sunar Yatırım, where he also serves as a Board Member.
Mustafa Nuri Çomu, who serves as the President of the Southern and Southeastern Anatolia Vegetable Oil Industrialists Association (GÜNYAĞDER), is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hacı Nuri Çomu Foundation. He is also a member of MÜSİAD, GÜNYAĞDER, PAGDER, PAGEV, and the İlim Yayma Society, as well as a Board Member of the Starch Industrialists Association (NİSAD) and the Central Anatolian Exporters’ Association (OAİB). He is actively involved in social life through hobbies and activities such as piano, tennis, snowboarding, and other winter sports.
Mustafa Nuri Çomu has an advanced level of English, is married, and is a father of two.
