Board of Directors

Hüseyin Nuri Çomu was born in 1965. He completed his higher education at Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. After completing his education, Çomu returned to Adana, where he has successfully continued the work in industry, trade, and agriculture—initiated by his grandparents and led by his father—for over 35 years.

Despite his demanding work schedule, he has also held leadership positions in Turkey’s leading associations, including MÜSİAD, BYSD, YABİTED, AKİB, OAİB, ENVER, and NÜD. He served as Chairman of the ADASO Assembly from 2013 to 2016.

Between 2015 and 2023, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Southern and Southeastern Vegetable Oil Manufacturers Association (GÜNYAĞDER). Additionally, in 2024, Çomu was re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Adana Branch of the Society for the Dissemination of Knowledge.

Mustafa Nuri Çomu, a third-generation representative of Sunar Yatırım, was born in Istanbul in 1995. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, Çomu completed his master’s degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on International Management at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Additionally, during his studies at Harvard University, he gained industry experience through training programs at international organizations such as the CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade).

After serving as a consultant on projects related to brand management, information systems, supply chain, corporate management, and governance at international consulting firms, he joined Sunar Yatırım in 2019 as Director of Strategy and Business Development. He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sunar—where he also serves as a Board Member—in 2020.

Mustafa Nuri Çomu, who serves as President of the South and Southeast Anatolia Vegetable Oil Manufacturers Association (GÜNYAĞDER), is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hacı Nuri Çomu Foundation, as well as a member of MÜSİAD, BUMED, GÜNYAĞDER, PAGDER, PAGEV, and the Society for the Dissemination of Knowledge.
