Hacı Nuri Çomu

(1935 – 2020)

It was established in Adana in November 2017 with the aim of contributing to the strength of the Republic of Türkiye. To serve this purpose, the foundation’s reason for existence is defined as contributing to and initiating the upbringing of individuals and citizens who embrace, protect, and develop the cultural values of the Turkish nation and all its citizens; who love and strive to exalt their family, homeland, and nation; who are committed to human rights; and who are aware of their responsibilities toward their country.

The speech he delivered while receiving the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) Distinguished Service Award from our President summarizes his outlook on life:

“Let us work in peace and strive to raise this state and nation to the highest levels; Allah (SWT) will surely help us. Therefore, God willing, we will go further. We will be worthy of being one of the world’s leading, number-one states. That is my wish, inshAllah.”

To raise better generations and ensure that the works of Hacı Nuri Çomu and the Çomu family are passed down from generation to generation, it aims to create new resources by utilizing existing ones efficiently and to meet the needs for constructions, infrastructure, campuses, education, scholarships, publications, and equipment with these resources.
