Occupational Health and Safety is an integral part of every job we do and holds the highest priority in all our activities. We adopt preventive and corrective approaches to create a safe working environment, eliminate hazardous situations and behaviors, and establish an Occupational Health and Safety culture, turning this culture into a lifestyle. We aim to ensure the participation of every level of our organization and our stakeholders in these activities.
These goals are;
- To consider meeting all legal and other obligations regarding Occupational Health and Safety as a duty beyond mere compliance,
- To analyze and minimize health and safety risks that may arise in the working environment,
- To continuously improve our processes with the participation of all our employees by following technological developments and innovations through preventive and corrective approaches regarding Occupational Health & Safety, which is a cornerstone of sustainability,
- To ensure increased personal awareness by providing knowledge, skills, and competencies through Occupational Health and Safety training programs to all Sunar Investment personnel, employees of sub-contractors/suppliers serving in our factories, visitors, interns, and students receiving vocational/skills training at the workplace,
- To achieve zero occupational accidents, zero occupational diseases, and zero lost workdays by keeping conditions and behaviors that may lead to accidents under control.
