Elita Gıda, Turkey’s 249th Largest Industrial Enterprise

WE ARE TURKEY’S 249TH LARGEST INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE

Elita Gıda Continues to Rise

Elita Gıda, the Sunar Group of Companies’ brand that produces vegetable oils with a “superior flavor from field to table” approach, rose 23 spots compared to the previous year to rank 249th in the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s (ISO) “Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises” research.

Hasan A. Özkan, CEO of Sunar Group of Companies, stated that they are pleased to see the performance they displayed in 2020—despite the pandemic—reflected as a rise in the ISO 500 table.

Stating that they continue their operations with the responsibility of being among Turkey’s pioneering companies in the agri-food sector, Özkan said: “The solid foundations we have laid in the field of sustainability continue to bring success. With the measures we took in every field during the pandemic—from procurement to production, and from the health of our employees to logistics—we stood by millions of consumers worldwide who use our brands and ensured that no disruptions occurred. In addition to all legal measures taken, we implemented many industry-leading precautions. Within this framework, our companies were awarded the ‘Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate’ by the TSE (Turkish Standards Institution).

Our innovation aimed at strengthening the immune systems of our consumers by adding ‘Vitamin D’ supplements to our vegetable oil products, developed by our R&D Center registered by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, received great interest. It is gratifying that we rose 23 places in Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises ranking during a year we navigated with precautions and innovations.

We share our happiness with all our stakeholders, from our farmers to our employees, and from our suppliers to our customers. As the Sunar Group of Companies, our goal is to represent our country in the best and most effective way globally through our brands and products.”
