About Us
Sunar Investment, a rising star in Turkey’s agriculture-based industry, food and biodegradable material production sectors, exports its own brands to over 100 countries across six continents, backed by nearly half a century of experience, over 1,300 employees and a wide product range. Thanks to its high capacity, production expertise and sector experience, it aims to become one of the largest agriculture-based industrial groups in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
The foundations of Sunar Investment were laid in the early 1970s by its founder, Hacı Nuri Çomu. The cotton gin and rice mill established in 1974 was unable to continue production due to transformations in cotton farming in Çukurova; however, this experience marked the beginning of the group’s enduring journey in industry with the flour mill established in Osmaniye in 1976.

Core Competencies
Sunar Investment, which operates in every stage of the agriculture-based industry through its group companies, processes raw materials derived from corn to produce low-calorie sweeteners (sorbitol, maltitol), natural and modified starch derivatives, vegetable liquid oils, flour, feed, fresh fruit and biodegradable polymers to domestic and international markets.
Sunar Mısır, one of the group companies, holds a significant share in Turkey’s corn starch and glucose exports and is the leading producer of low-calorie sweeteners (sorbitol, maltitol) in Turkey. Elita Gıda is a pioneering brand in Turkey’s corn oil exports.
