Sunar Corn is one of the industry’s longest-standing and most experienced producers, providing raw materials such as glucose and fructose, native starch, modified starch, dextrin, polyols, corn bran, corn germ, and corn gluten to numerous sectors, particularly food, textiles, and paper.

In response to the import of high-quality corn derivatives required by the Turkish industry in the early 1980s, the company was established in Adana in 1985 by Senior Agricultural Engineer Hacı Nuri Çomu to fill this gap in the sector.

Since its establishment, Sunar Corn has become a reliable supplier to numerous national and international brands operating in Turkey’s food, textile, and paper industries, reaching the status of an integrated production facility by continuously expanding its investments. In this context:

• 1992’de modifiye nişasta üretim tesisi,
• 2002: Isoglucose facility,
• 2013: Sorbitol facility,
• 2015: Maltitol production facility was commissioned.

With its investments, Sunar Corn has successfully become the first and only producer of Sunsorb® Powder Sorbitol and Sodium Gluconate in Turkey.
